5/2 - Mascot Chase

At a new start time this year, kids woke up extra early to run with their favorite mascots downtown. A family-favorite event prior to the kick-off of the Capital City Half Marathon, kids and mascots run a 0.3 mile course around the Arena District.

Some of the mascots to attend this year: Crew Cat, Ronald McDonald, Chilly Bear, and AEP's Louie the Lightning Bug.
